These small cylinders are often used as triggering devices for Hall Effect sensors. They are also useful for small arts & crafts applications .

The SH grades have a maximum operating temperature of 302ºF (150ºC), as compared to standard N grades that have a maximum operating temperature of 176ºF (80ºC).  These are great for applications where you need to place a small magnet in a high temperature environment.

This size is also available in grade N52 as part number D11-N52 and in grade N48 as part number D11.
