Product Description

The bp6 is a pack of four 3/8" diameter by 1/32" thick adhesive-backed rubber pads made from 3M SJ5832 Bumpon protective material. The pads attach directly to magnets to increase friction and help resist sliding on vertical and other smooth surfaces while remaining thin enough to minimize the effect on magnetic holding force. They also provide cushioning and impact protection for brittle neodymium magnets. For best adhesion, apply to a flat, clean, dry surface free of contaminants.

The bp6 adhesive-backed rubber pads provide a simple way to add grip, surface protection, and impact cushioning to neodymium magnets. Applied to the working face of a magnet, the rubber surface increases friction to help prevent sliding while also creating a protective barrier between the magnet and the mounting surface. They are useful for magnetic mounts, signs, displays, fixtures, tool holders, equipment, and other assemblies attached to steel surfaces. The bp6 is especially helpful on vertical, painted, polished, or finished surfaces where additional grip can improve stability while helping protect both the magnet and contact surface from scratches and impacts.
