Neodymium (NdFeB) magnets are the strongest type of permanent rare earth magnets currently commercially available. They are available in many sizes, shapes, strengths and grades and used widely in heavy-duty industrial and commercial applications, electronics and engineering and the home, office and many DIY projects.

Rare Earth Neodymium Magnets for Sale

Neodymium magnets (NdFeB) are super strong and are the strongest permanent rare earth magnets available. Nd-Fe-B stands for neodymium iron boron which are the three main periodic elements that make up neodymium magnets. Neodymium magnets also go by the nicknames of neo magnets, NIB magnets and nd magnets.

We provide neodymium magnets in all strength grades from N35 to N52 and all heat grades from NM to NAH. Our standard grade is N42 with a nickel-copper-nickel plating. We provide magnets with the basic nickel plating, but also heavy-duty mounting magnets, plastic and rubber coated and many other types for different applications.

Why are neodymium magnets special?

Neodymium magnets are special for being the strongest permanent rare earth magnets on the market, having a super high coercivity (resistance to demagnetization), and being very cost effective. This allows neodymium magnets to be made in very small sizes to fit most applications including even small electronics.

What size neodymium magnets do you sell?

We sell all sizes and shapes of neodymium magnets. We provide very tiny stock magnets as small as 1/32" or less than 1mm all the way up to large magnets 4" or over 100mm depending on the shape and magnetization direction. Do you sell metric size neodymium magnets?

Yes, we provide mounting magnets in metric sizes and you can find close equivalent sizes for common metric sizes like 5mm, 10mm etc. using our magnet finder page and selecting the metric units button. All metric magnets are also mixed in with inch sizes. You can contact us for help finding a metric size or get a custom metric size magnet.

Are neodymium magnets nickel magnets?

No, neodymium magnets are comprised of neodymium, iron and boron elements, but the most common coating/plating option for them is a three layer nickel copper nickel plating (Ni-Cu-Ni). This helps protect the magnets from corrosion and rust due to the high iron content. Can neodymium magnets mess up electronics?

Yes, neodymium magnets produce a powerful magnetic field that can interfere with certain electronics like pace makers, magnetic media, sensors and other unshielded parts.

Our standard coating for neodymium magnets is a nickel plating, but also have stock products with black nickel, gold, epoxy, plastic and rubber. More coatings available with custom neodymium magnets.
