High heat resistant neodymium magnets are the best solution for applications that require operating temperatures above the standard 176F (80C) N grade of neodymium. In addition to providing a large range of standard N heat grade magnets, we also provide NM, NH, NSH, NUH, NEH and ultra high NAH temperature grades. We offer various options as stock magnets, but are unable to stock all possible grade, shape and temp combos so if we do not have a stock product for your needs, you can contact us for a custom high temp magnet.

Below are some common questions we get regarding high heat neodymium magnets.

Do magnets work in high temperatures?

Yes, certain grades of magnets are able to withstand constant exposure to higher temperatures without experiencing any permanent loss. Neodymium magnets can withstand temperatures of up to 428°(220°C). Our Magnets at High Temp blog article covers this topic in greater detail.

Will heat destroy a magnet?

Can magnets resist heat?

Yes, neodymium magnets are able to resist heat by adding different ratios of elements including dysprosium. The different physical structure allows the magnet to absorb more heat before reaching its curie temperature and becoming demagnetized.
