Product Description
The epid2 is a compact electronic magnetic pole identifier designed to
quickly and accurately determine the north or south pole of a magnet. Simply
position the tip near the magnet and press the button; an LED indicates the
detected polarity. The 5.75" long tool includes a protective case and
features an easily accessible battery compartment for quick battery
replacement. The epid2 requires one AAA battery, sold separately, and is
designed for use with magnets 1/8" in diameter or larger.
The epid2 magnetic pole detector provides a fast and reliable way to find
magnet polarity during assembly, inspection, testing, and experimentation.
Quickly finding north and south poles helps ensure magnets are installed in
the correct orientation and can prevent polarity errors when building
assemblies that require specific attraction or repulsion. It is a useful
