This arc segment is designed so that 12 of them will combine to form a ring of 4" od x 2" id, with alternating poles. To form the ring, you will need 6 AY0X030-N and 6 AY0X030-S. This arc is magnetized through the radius, with the south pole on the outer face. Twelve of these can be forced together and contained in a ring, to form a pseudo radially magnetized ring with the south pole around the outer circumference. These can also be combined with our AY0X030-C and AY0X030-N to form a circular Halbach array.
