Pyrolytic graphite also has other unique anisotropic, thermal conductive and electrical properties making it widely used in semiconductors, aerospace and defense, heat sinks and more.

What is pyrolytic graphite? -  Pyrolytic graphite has many stacked layers of carbon atoms that give it a diamagnetic property as well as many other unique properties. The diamagnetism creates a magnetic field in opposition to an applied magnetic field and creates a form of levitation.
