The diametrically magnetized DX08DIA disc magnets are very powerful. They are magnetized perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder, so they will attract "side-to-side" with great force.  They may "feel" stronger and are a bit more difficult to handle than their axially magnetized cousins of the same size. They can be pretty tricky to handle, so use caution and plan ahead.

This size is also available axially magnetized in grade N52 as part number DX08B-N52 and in grade N42 as part number DX08.
