What is a magnetic push pin? - A magnetic push pin is a magnet in the shape of a thumbtack or pushpin, but with a magnet instead of a pin. Magnetic push pins and thumbtacks allow for easy removal and do not damage the items being hung or the backing like a push pin.

How much will my magnetic push pin hold? - A magnetic push pin or magnetic thumbtack strength will vary based on several factors. A magnetic push pin may not get full strength unless the steel is thick enough. Any gap between the magnet and steel like glass, a finish on a fridge door, etc. will lower pull force. Will my magnetic push pin work on a magnetic dry erase board? - Yes! Neodymium magnetic push pins work well on magnetic dry erase boards, magnetic whiteboards or magnetic glass dry erase boards.
