The bc41 is a medium-sized rectangular block magnet measuring 3/4" long,
1/4" wide, and 1/16" thick. It is magnetized through the thickness and
coated with nickel-copper-nickel plating that provides a smooth, durable
surface and helps protect the magnet from corrosion. Made from N42 neodymium
grade material, this magnet has a surface field of 2,060 Gauss, a 3.07 lb
pull force, and a max operating temperature of 176°F (80°C).
The bc41 rare earth neodymium block magnet is a versatile choice for
hobbyists, makers, engineers, designers, and manufacturers working on
projects where a rectangular magnet fits naturally into the design. Common
applications include woodworking projects and custom cabinetry, magnetic
closures, models and miniatures, 3D-printed parts, displays, signs, sensors,
small fixtures, prototypes, and product assemblies. Its bar-like shape also
works well for installation along edges, inside narrow channels and
recesses, or in arrangements where multiple magnets are positioned in a row
to create a longer magnetic contact area.
