Stepped Magnet Coatings

Our standard stepped magnet coating is a 3-layer nickel-copper-nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) plating to protect from moisture and corrosion, enhance durability and to give a nice smooth silver finish. Stepped Magnet Magnetization Directions

Our stepped magnets are polarized through the thickness for stepped blocks and axially for stepped discs. Stepped hole magnets also have axial or through thickness magnetization and the north pole facing outwards away from the stainless steel cup or frame.
