Also offer countered bored hole to accept hardware other than screws. Standard plating is N42 which a nice balance between high performance and low cost. We offer countersunk block magnets and countersunk disc and ring magnets as well as countersunk mounting magnets. Sizes range from small countersunk magnets 1/8" or 1/4" up to heavy-duty ones up to 2 inches in size.

Countersunk Magnet Coatings

Our standard countersunk magnet coating is a 3-layer nickel-copper-nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) plating to protect from moisture and corrosion, enhance durability and to give a nice smooth silver finish. Countersunk Magnet Magnetization Directions

Our countersunk magnets are polarized through the thickness for countersunk blocks and axially for countersunk discs. Countersunk hole magnets also have axial or through thickness magnetization and the north pole facing outwards away from the stainless steel cup or frame.
