Rare earth neodymium sewing magnets are the strongest type of magnetic closures for attaching fabric and clothing. Sewing magnets have a stronger hold than velcro and many snaps and allow fabric to attach flush with no gap. Each set of fabric magnets is a matched north/south pair marked with a plus and minus that attract to each other. They have a steel assembly that increases durability from shocks and impacts and provides a stronger hold. Waterproof sheet allows thread sew-ins and protects from rain and going through the wash.

Washer and Dryer Safe Plastic Sheet

Our SWP series of sewing magnets have a plastic sheath around them that forms a water-tight seal allowing them to to be run in the washer and be exposed to outdoor conditions like rain and moisture without starting to rust. The sheet also allows for easy sew-in to fabric. Our SW series provide the same strength, but without the plastic sheet.
