Max Operating Temp: Maximum operating temperature, also known as maximum service temperature, is the temperature at which the magnet may be exposed to continuously with no significant long-range instability or structural changes. Learn more in our Temperature and Neodymium Magnets article.176°F (80°C)
-
Material: This lists the name of the material each product is composed of.Neodymium (NdFeb)
-
BH Max: BH max is the Maximum Energy Product at the point on the B/H Curve that has the most strength, expressed in MGOe (MegaGaussOersteds). When describing the grade of a neodymium magnet, this number is commonly referred to as the "N" number, as in Grade N52 magnets. Learn more about Bh max in our glossary.42 MGOe
-
Tolerances: Dimensional tolerance specifies the allowed leeway for variations in manufacturing.±0.01 in (.25mm)
-
Coating: Most neodymium magnets are plated or coated in order to protect the magnet material from corrosion. Check out our Custom Magnets for unplated magnets and other coatings not stocked for this size magnet. Learn more about all available platings and coating in our What Magnet Coating Should I Use? article.Nickel-Copper-Nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni)
-
Weight: This is the weight of a single magnet in ounces and grams. Variety packs (with mixed sizes) show the overall weight.1.0935 oz (31 g)
-
Br Max: Br max is also called "Residual Flux Density" and is when the magnetic induction remaining in a saturated magnetic material after the magnetizing field has been removed. This is the point at which the hysteresis loop crosses the B axis at zero magnetizing force, and represents the maximum flux output from the given magnet material. By definition, this point occurs at zero air gap, and therefore cannot be seen in practical use of magnet materials. Learn more about Br max in our glossary.13,200 Gauss

Color: The color of the coating or plating on the product.Silver
The mms-g-x0 is a powerful neodymium eye hook magnet featuring a 1" diameter
by 1/4" thick magnetic base housed in a steel mounting cup. The steel cup
helps concentrate the magnetic field toward the outer working face while
also providing additional protection for the neodymium magnet. The threaded
closed eye (#8 screw) provides a secure attachment point. The north pole
faces outward, and the magnetic base provides up to 40.64 lb of pull force
when attached directly to a suitable steel surface. Made from N42 grade
neodymium magnet material, the mms-g-x0 provides strong magnetic performance
in a compact, removable mounting design and can handle maximum operating
temperatures up to 176°F (80°C). Its nickel-copper-nickel plating provides a
smooth, durable silver finish that helps protect the magnet from corrosion.
The mms-g-x0 is a powerful magnetic eye hook with a steel mounting cup,
providing a secure attachment point on steel and other ferrous surfaces
without drilling or permanently modifying the mounting surface. Its closed
eye provides a convenient connection for ropes, cords, cables, chains,
straps, and compatible hardware, while the strong magnetic base allows the
attachment point to be easily installed, removed, and repositioned. It is a
versatile choice for workshops, warehouses, garages, job sites, vehicles,
trailers, retail displays, and industrial work areas. The mms-g-x0 can be
used for hanging signs and equipment, organizing cables and hoses, creating
temporary anchor and tie points, suspending lightweight items, and building
removable hanging or securing systems on steel beams, frames, shelving,
machinery, and other ferrous surfaces.
