These parts are not magnets.

These steel cups are perfect for wood and metal projects. They can be recessed to provide a flush magnet mount for latches. The corresponding steel washers can be used to create a clean, modern latch assembly for doors and hatches. The cup is countersunk to accept a wood or metal screw that will be covered by the magnet. Magnets and mounting screws not included with this part. Magnets can be purchased separately. This size cup is designed for use with our D82 disc magnet. Our R822CS-N and R822CS-S countersunk ring magnets can also be used with this steel cup.
